Farallon has been written about steadily since it opened. Nominated by the James Beard Foundation as one of the best restaurants in the nation, it was also chosen as one of the best newcomers in the country by national magazines such as Esquire, Bon Appetit and Food & Wine, and was the highest-rated newcomer in the 1999 Zagat Survey.

Who handles media inquiries?

Can I photograph or film inside the restaurant?
Contact media relations in advance. Shoots during service need to be arranged around guests, and the private dining floor is often the easier option.
Do you supply images and biographies?
Yes — chef biographies, interior photography and menu PDFs can be supplied on request through media relations.
