Post Street, between Powell and Mason
On foot
Farallon sits on Post Street a block from Union Square itself, inside the historic Elks' building shared with the Kensington Park Hotel and the Post Street Theater. From the square it is a two-minute walk; from the Powell Street cable car turntable, about five.
By public transport
Powell Street BART and Muni Metro station is roughly a five-minute walk south. The Powell–Mason and Powell–Hyde cable car lines both start within the same block, which makes Farallon an easy stop before or after a ride.
By car
Limited valet parking is available at the restaurant. Several public garages sit within a short walk on Post, Sutter, Geary and Mason, and the Union Square Garage under the square itself is the largest.
